1. Who we are

Qubit provides Qubit. This policy explains how we handle personal data about the businesses that use Qubit, their team members, and visitors to this website.

Businesses using Qubit also store data about their own customers in their workspace. For that data the business decides how it is used and we process it on its behalf - please read that business's privacy notice for how it handles your information.

2. What we collect

  • Account data: your name, business name, email address, phone number and password (stored only as a secure hash).
  • Workspace content: the conversations, contacts, leads, files and settings you and your team add.
  • Billing data: plan, invoices, wallet transactions and the business details needed for tax invoices. Card and bank details are handled by Razorpay; we do not store them.
  • Security and usage data: sign-in history, devices, IP addresses and audit logs, used to keep accounts safe.
  • Communications: messages you send to our support team.

3. How we use it

  • to provide, maintain and secure the Service;
  • to verify sign-ups and sign-ins, including by email or WhatsApp codes;
  • to process payments, issue invoices and meet tax and legal obligations;
  • to send service messages such as security alerts, usage warnings and billing notices;
  • to provide support and improve the product.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use workspace content for advertising.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the Service, under contracts that protect it, and only as needed:

  • Messaging channels you connect - Meta (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook), Telegram, LinkedIn, Google and Microsoft - to send and receive your messages;
  • Razorpay, to process payments;
  • our AI provider, when your workspace uses AI replies;
  • cloud hosting, storage and email delivery providers.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.

5. Cookies

We use only the cookies and browser storage needed to sign you in, keep your session secure and remember preferences such as layout settings. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. How long we keep it

We keep workspace data while the workspace is active. After a workspace is cancelled it is kept for a retention period so it can be restored or exported, then permanently deleted. We keep billing and tax records for as long as the law requires.

7. Security

Every workspace's data is kept separate from every other. Access is protected by role-based permissions, optional two-factor authentication and audit logging, and data is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify affected customers of a breach as the law requires.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to exercise your rights. Workspace owners can export and correct most data themselves in the settings.

To make a request, or to raise a grievance, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the time the law requires.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new date. For material changes we will also tell workspace owners.
